Posted October 09, 2018 11:18:29A bridal party in Brooklyn was celebrating its 30th wedding anniversary in style when one of its guests made the mistake of buying a bridal dress with the wrong neckline.
The bride, who declined to give her name, says the bridesmaids took the dress and placed it on the floor and began to change it.
“They were doing this with the bride, and it was all over the place,” she said.
“I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, what is this?'”
But the dress, which was bought for the bride by her family, was a dress from the Anthropologie Collection, a company that specializes in wedding dresses.
The dress, made of the same material as the bridal gown, had a different neckline than the dress in question, so the bride’s bridesman removed it.
The incident happened at the wedding of two brides who were both from India.
“I was really upset because it was my first time seeing the dress that they were wearing,” the bride said.
The brideswomen have since been able to change the dress without losing their wedding day.
“We have to work with our families.
We have to find a way to deal with it,” the woman said.”
There is no shame in saying something like that,” said the bride.
“There is a lot of shame.”
The bride has since taken to social media to vent her frustrations.
“What a day for my family to get married.
So many weddings, and I had to buy something wrong that I had no idea about it.
I felt so bad,” she wrote.
