The Washington Times reported on Wednesday that the trend for wedding rings with multiple colors of beads is on the rise.
According to the paper, wedding rings that feature beads in all colors are popular among wedding vendors because they’re easier to handle and offer a unique look.
“The wedding band has evolved to the point where beads and jewelry are being more popular with many wedding bands than ever before,” the paper quoted the company’s chief executive officer, Mark Cogan, as saying.
“For a bride who is already on the hunt for a wedding ring, a lot of the wedding bands that are out there now are more expensive than ever.”
The company said its wedding bands are made of polyurethane or polyester materials and have a minimum weight of 40 grams.”
It’s not a question of how much you’re going to spend, it’s a question about how much it’s going to cost to get it right.”

The paper said that many wedding vendors will charge $1,000 to $2,000 for a ring with beads, and that a few other services also sell rings with beads.
“I’ve never seen anything like it,” said Jill, a senior editor at the newspaper who asked not to be identified for fear of retaliation.
“If I had a ring, I’d go for it,” she added.
In the past year, the Washington Post has also reported that wedding vendors have begun offering free, custom-designed wedding bands to brides for the first time in more than three years.
The Post said the custom-made rings were made by people who were already on staff at the wedding venue and could be ordered online, and could take up to five days to be manufactured.
