This non traditional Mormon wedding was all about love. The wedding was taken place at the Oakland Mormon Temple during the day. Guests who are not part of the church aren’t allowed to witness the actual marriage take place but luckily Tiara & Sean planned for a ring ceremony for all their friends & family to enjoy at a later time.
With only a few months to plan, Tiara & Sean really nailed it with this one. Their wedding was absolutely beautiful & I believe that is what really gave it its’ beauty, was the love shared between these two.
We started off the day at their new apartment in Pleasanton where Tiara gave her bridesmaids a cute little gift made by Twisted Silver. We then headed out to stage a private first look (my personal favorite) where the Groom was able to see his Bride for the first time; then took off to the temple where Tiara & Sean shared their vows. If you haven’t seen it yet, the Oakland Mormon Temple is a fairytale castle!
I knew photographing these two would be easy since I shot their engagement a couple months ago. They really made my job easy. I gave little to no direction when it comes to posing & showing the love. Soon as we got to each spot, they instantly showed each other how much they love each other.
I have to give these two credit on planning a wedding; with only a few months they planned it very well. Timing always changes at every wedding, things happen. Every wedding I’ve attended this year had a small hiccup which caused delays in certain aspects in the wedding. With smart planning, these two were able to account for all the hiccups possible & still leave plenty of gaps in the day to still enjoy their time! This was great for me; all said & done I was able to spend a whole hour dedicated to photographing just the two of them. We walked around the temple & just soaked in the beautiful Bay Area!
