Oh love…

I’ve shot many types portraits in my time. I have the most fun when i’m shooting engagement sessions! Let me give you a few reasons why:

  1. The love is so fresh and exciting knowing this person is going to be with you for the rest of your life.
  2. It’s a chance to really get a feel for how my client/new friends take direction from me. (Important to know this come wedding day)
  3. This is also a great chance for my client to get comfortable with a big frickin camera pointed at you.
  4. Lastly, probably the most important/fun part for me, is to establish a new friendship and get to know each other a little better.

This engagement shoot was special, first off I’d like to say that I made new friends, so mission accomplished! Unfortunately, I’m not shooting this beautiful couple’s wedding 🙁 .  However, I will have my photobooth at their wedding so I will take part and have fun at their wedding! (Tequila shots all around this time!)

When my assistant and I first met up with these girls we knew that we would get along and share some laughs, but I always try to tell my subjects to be natural and don’t feel the pressure of my camera looking at you. And they did perfect, most of the photos here were natural with little to no direction. Made my job easy and I was able to enjoy the love they have for each other. They definitely reminded me why I love to shoot portraits. I hope you all enjoy! Thank you Angelica & Yaz, congratulations to the both of you!
